Experience has taught me that what seems at first to be a crushing blow of disappointment is often in reality the hammer strike of my Blacksmith, forging me again. Every time, I've come out stronger. A fine piece of steel is meant for a sword blade, not a railroad spike. A sword blade wielded by a worthy hand becomes a work of art in itself. It's deft movements, keen edge and briskness foster respect. It's only a cretin that uses a honed sword to break stones. I can be put to finer use.
P.S. I haven't smoked in almost two years.
