If Art Can Be In Everything....

  

If Art can be in Everything

why can’t it be in Cash?

If Quid Pro Quo’s no sin, why then

Is work for pay so brash?

When did the dollar and the paintbrush split,

or were they ever friends?

Why is it wrong to want to eat and buy?

But this society offends.

We are like you, we need and want,

as all the people do.

We pay our taxes, bills and fees,

and like our lights on, too.
